And yet another study is suggesting that Americans are less satisfied with their personal lives, with one exception.

Married Couples, according to a recent study published by Gallup, while less than half, 47% of Americans in general are satisfied with their personal lives,

over half 57% of married couples report feeling very satisfied.

It's nearly 20 percentage points higher than their non-married counterparts.

Of course, this report does not mean that the only way to be happy and satisfied is through

marriage or that a single life cannot be beautiful,

meaningful, and happy. It often is. Still, given this popular narrative that marriage

always leads to misery and the record low numbers of young adults getting married

and the current push to mainstream quote-unquote

non-monogamy as good and healthy the truth about marriage needs to be told.

Not every institution should be revised to our modern ideas. People most satisfied with their lives are those old-fashioned

married couples because that's how God made it. I'm John Stone Street.
