An adult Helen born between 1975 to 1985 is a Helen completely different to those born

before them.

Helline's born after 1985 even more different.

Speaking of the majority taxpayers in the first bracket aforementioned,

one must understand what they have seen in their country so far.

As a Greek American and from an upper middle class family I had the luxury of living in

NYC and going to Greece every summer from the day school was out until the day before school

started.

I really didn't know how blessed I was as a dual citizen

to have that privilege. In 1987 I recall I had Nintendo, Sega Mega Systems 45 in televisions, portable

TVs, CDs, and computers at my fingertips just under the age of 10.

I refer to that time period because it was that age that I actually started to comprehend differences in the two countries from a socioeconomic standpoint and technological

standpoint.

I had all these possessions that in Greece meant something of a social status as they were

unattainable.

Thus, social status was measured by way of possessions. That felt like a really awful guideline

and harsh but in essence that is true in every corner of the earth. For me it was earth-shattering.
