So today we're going to talk about what I'm kind of call three-dimensional theology.

I'm trying to find a way of answering this question because it's always bothered me.

And why is it the two Christian churches could have almost identical

doctrinal statements while one produces legalistic Pharisees and the

other produces sober-minded disciples of Jesus Christ who trust Christ alone for their salvation and their lives are marked by the good works produced by the Holy Spirit.

How is this possible? Why does this happen?

I mean, you look at evangelicalism and it just seems like there's so much of it you know that you can say if you look at their doctoral statement we were supposedly have a lot in common right?

But why is it that there's just something is so radically different,

we don't feel at home?

And so the answer I've come up with is kind of picture here

is that theology is three-dimensional.

It's not two-dimensional.

Let me give an example of two-dimensional theology.

Church A believes in the Trinity, the Deity of Christ,

biblical inerrancy, baptism, salvation. Belize in the Trinity, the deity of Christ,

the regenerated life, and Christ's second coming, right?

No. Why? Because this is really just a two-dimensional cursory look at their theology and doctrine. Okay?
