It featured on a recent episode of The Apprentice from which you could be forgiven for thinking

the sector, not to mention a lot of smaller companies too, and between them they're coming

up with a lot of fascinating new ideas and applications. My guests today are all involved in the world of wearable tech

and they've each brought a piece with them and they can show it to us. So let's start by taking a few

minutes to meet each of them. And first, Asha Peter Thompson, who is co-founder of intelligent

textile to which develops electrically active fabrics. Asha, what have you got to show us?

I've got a piece of fabric that

literally gets rid of wires and cables so it can pass power and data through the actual fabric

itself, meaning for our application that we use it for for soldier systems, it means he doesn't

contracts with US military, US Marine Corps. We're looking at this. This is just a normal piece of
