Hey, there. I'm so glad you stopped by for this podcast. We hope so much we can serve you today.

0:12.4

Would you turn with me to Romans chapter 14. I'm going to read all the way through the chapter

0:19.8

and then we're going to go back to the beginning and primarily spend our time on the first

0:25.2

four verses and then another here and there. I'm not going to try to do an expository teaching.

0:29.4

Obviously in the hour that we have on the entire chapter, but I do want to keep it in its context and

0:38.9

even what we will not study together is of great interest and let it be a lesson in itself.

0:45.3

If we don't happen to land in on a verse in an expository way,

1:18.1

everything must not condemn the man who does for God has accepted him. Who are you to judge someone

1:24.4

else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls and he will stand.

1:29.5

For the Lord is able to make him stand. One man considers one day more sacred than another

1:35.0

and other men considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.

1:40.1

He regards one day as special does so to the Lord. He who eats meat eats to the Lord

1:46.1

where he gives thanks to God and he who abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.

1:52.5

For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. If we live,

1:57.5

we live to the Lord and if we die, we die to the Lord. So whether we live or die,

2:01.9

we belong to the Lord. We are not going to go here to this particular portion in our lesson.

2:07.7

So I'll stop here long enough to say perhaps all of us across the room have heard some form of the

2:14.6

quote by John Dunnell. I'll remind you what it says. No man is an island entire of itself.
