Summary
In September 2023, the Ukraine: The Latest team took a trip to Washington DC for a live show at the British Embassy. While in the US, host David Knowles went to a Ukrainian festival at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Silver Spring, Maryland.
The festival promised Ukrainian music, culture, dancing, singing...and even a Cossack beer garden! In this special episode of Ukraine: the Latest, David meets attendees, some of whom were 4th or even 5th generation American Ukrainians, and some who had arrived after fleeing the full-scale invasion.

| 1:10.0 | I started by talking to Peter, a member of the congregation who showed me around. This is the backside of the cathedral. We have seven acres here. We got a lake. |

| 1:20.0 | Ukrainian music. We got Ukrainian food here. We got vendors anything Ukrainian you want. |

| 1:30.3 | You said this started 20 years ago. How has it grown is something years ago and it just starts a small festival and every year's getting bigger and bigger. |
