I've moved quite a few times for work to places where I didn't know anyone.

I never sugarcoat how hard it can be to make friends as an adult.

It's awkward.

You don't know where to always meet somebody and then you have to add on the pressure

of wondering if they're conservative or not because that is so much unnecessary trauma

that we just do not need at the stage in our lives.

Am I right?

So here's something I did a few years back that introduced me to so many other women

who shared my values and some of them ultimately became lifelong friends.

I went to the Young Women's Leadership Summit.

It's a huge women's conference turning point you would say puts on every year in Dallas.

This year it's June 9th through 11th and women of all ages from across the country come

together to hear from the biggest female conservatives in the movement.

Think Kayleigh McEnany, Riley Gaines, and Candace Owens to name a few.

I speak too, which is super fun and guess what?

It's okay to go if you don't know anyone going.

I didn't.

It was scary but so worth it.
