I've been debating sharing this for a while now, because, it still makes me uncomfortable to talk about it even.

But I would really like to hear if anyone has experienced anything similar to this.

I'm not jumping straight to paranormal explanations or anything like that, too.

I'm genuinely just trying to figure out what the heck was going on. So around 2016, my husband and I bought about 15 acres of land in Louisiana. It is extremely rural too.

To reach the property, for instance, you leave the highway and then drive several miles down

gravel and dirt roads with nothing around.

When there's heavy rain too, the low area's flood and sometimes the road becomes difficult to pass for a day or two here.

One reason that we bought it was because the land was cheap and completely surrounded by undeveloped forest.

Behind our property, there's a huge stretch of

state-managed wildlife land and on the other side there's tribal territory that has been there for a long

time. Because of that too, the area has tons of animals, dears, hogs, coyotes, even the occasional black bear.

My husband, he's a military veteran and being out somewhere quiet like that helps him a lot mentally.

He's been through multiple deployments and nature is one of those few things that consistently

helps him relax.
