A lot of you will know that for 10 years I had a club night called We Are Lizards. You used to have to hear me promoting on the intros and outros of this podcast.

We ended up having 10 years of sold out shows, which is absolutely insane. And then at the end of 2019, we decided to call it a day.

It turns out that was the best time in ever because a few months later a pandemic hit an every club closed, but that was almost two years ago to the day.

So I thought I'd get the lads back together. Me, Stu Wiffin, DJ destruction, aka Ross, disco tech credits, aka Bill and Christopher Glassen.

I thought I'd get the lads back together and yeah, see, see if we've got some good stories and reminisce because you got to remember that We Are Lizards is where the drunk cast kind of idea came from.

It was us pissing about and being wallies there that started all that. And that there will also be it should be up now and accompanying Spotify playlist that all of us put forward some tracks.

Hi, Jen. Good to see you. That's only a joke, because as we've explained before we got rolling, you were never actually late, but you gave me and Stu regular heart attacks, because you would always arrive sometimes within five minutes of your set.

But it's dangerous, because if you're cycling and people are texting you, where are you? You have to start or trying to.

Yeah, it's completely true. Imagine getting there a bit earlier, but yeah, it's it's good fun. We're meant to have Chris here, who is the fifth lizard, but he's not turned up so far, which is quite appropriate.

Because one of the things I had noted was the amount of times Chris told us with two or three days to go that he was like on a ski lift in Austria and completely didn't realize where the club night. How was that for you, Stuart? Definitely happened at least once a year, didn't it?

Here you go. Oh, Lads, that is when we'd send through the set times and we'd all been promoting the club night for weeks, posting about it, really trying to bring the crowds in and then Chris had go, oh, I'm, I'm actually on a ski holiday.

I think you're being generous, but saying that was once a year.

I probably say that was maybe two or three times a year. I mean, only a six events most years anyway.

I know one year he missed more than he attended. But I think average and out there was definitely a good few years at the start that he made all of them.

Yeah, it was quite, it was quite a hit of miss. But yeah, well, we decided to have this catch up because in 2019 or the end of 2019, we ended.
