Very welcome to the Redmond TV and my match reaction after Liverpool were beaten over in Paris to nail at the hands of PSG and I'll level with you.

I'm not entirely sure how to react nor how I feel having watched that.

Not overly infused by the performance nor the results.

However, having said that, it could have been much, much worse and probably should have been

much, much worse.

A combination of two or three decent, Mamadash really saves a little bit of last-stage

defendant, but I think perhaps most of all, PSG's wastefulness in front of the goal,

there's two or three opportunities for them to probably put the game to bed

if it kind of isn't already.

And certainly the tie could have easily been put to bed tonight as well, potentially.

So yeah, it's an odd feeling.

It's an odd sort of combination of emotions.

But I think the overriding sense for me right now

is the fact that we were just mild, mild, miles below them

in terms of what we offered tonight.

And I think that is kind of by design in a sense because we obviously approach the game

in a manner that suggests that we are going to get beaten or at least you know the likelihood is

that it's not going to be a very pleasing night work and we're going going to have to suffer, and that's the approach in terms of the formation, that's the approach in terms of the personnel. So, yeah, I guess from the outset, when you see the fact we are playing three centre halves, and we have essentially gone to a fire at the back with wing backs, then, and we haven't done that all season long to my knowledge

certainly not from the start and we've had a training session or two to work on it it's a bowl

it's a brave decision for the manager but it is one that sort of shows your hands and says listen

we know you're the superior team here we're just going to come try and keep the tie live and get

back to the landfill the truth we've all been talking about as being the best potential outcome and you
