is the most incredible thing ever and we didn't have any idea that'd go any further but boy did

they ever they were the team of the tournament the entire nation fell in love with them.

I did sort of resent the fact that the ESPN reporters

said they've put Needville on the mat. No, no, Needville was on the map already. These people

didn't wander into Needville and run out of gas. That was a stupid thing to say. Andy McCray,

your coaching run is over. Do you have more kids? Will you be coaching again?

No, sir. This is my last this is my last son. I'll be coaching again. I enjoy doing it.

How hard was it to to talk to your pitcher on the mound when you were mic'd up? Now,

don't you tell the truth and I don't want you to try to be overly virtuous here. Did you talk

differently to the kids because you were mic'd than you would have otherwise? It's difficult.

Number one, not on the mound. I'm very I try to be very good gentleman. They're in the moment

and big like that. I'm not going to lie to you. It's odd being mic'd up when you're coaching because

there are things that you know in the dugout or third base that I even say to myself. I try to be

a positive influence with the kids, but there are times I want to, you know, they're 12. You hug

them. Sometimes you you get on them a little bit. I probably didn't get on them quite as much

because of the moment, not so much the mic, but the moment. I was already so proud of them. There's

not a whole lot to get on here. I'll tell you the truth. If my producer Ramon was mic'd up,

the thing I'd worried about would be flatulence and then it's on national television.

The mic was too far away. I was thankful. You figured you were safe for that?

I figured I was safe there. So how was now the experiences over? How was it different for you and
