I'm Carrie Doherty, and today we're doing a Beyond Golden Girls episode where we cover the many film and TV projects that the women did outside of the Golden Girls during the course of their

illustrious careers. And today we're not actually watching a project that the girls were in, but we are watching an episode of Murder She Wrote, featuring a few of Dorothy's Bornax ex-lovers and Blanche's sister Charmaine.

Yeah, you were texting me. I mean, I had texted you saying, because I, we're doing this because I went to the Golden or to the Murder She Wrart Festival this past weekend in Mendocino, California, which we'll talk about.

And you had never seen this episode before, correct?

And so you were texting me surprised that all these like, I mean, I had texted you being like, we need to watch the one with the two glens.

Like, that's really what this is. This is the episode with both of Dorothy's exes, same character. Well, we think, we presume. I'm going to talk about that in a bit. But the two glins. And, and, but then there are also Father Frank is in it. And Charmé Frank. And Charméne and Holingsworth. I i know i couldn't believe i you had texted me and said

both glens are in it and father frank and then i started watching it i was like is that charmine

that's charmine isn't it i was so pleasantly surprised that there was one more golden girls

uh actor in it and it was murder she wrote is always a fun watch. We've only

watched one other episode on Beyond the Golden Girls, which was one that Rue McClanahan was in.

The bus one. So this is our second one. But we we have gotten, this has been requested by many, many fans to specifically cover this one.

So I'm very excited that we finally did it.

And yes, how perfect that you were just at the Murder She Rope Fest.

So, well, first, before I go into that, I do want to say about this episode, it is actually a really, for any actual Murder She Wrote fans out there, this episode is actually a really

important episode within the, within the landscape of the Murder She Wrote universe because

it is the introduction to Jerry Orbach's character, Harry McGraw, which becomes an ongoing

character, and he is the only character that got a spin-off series from
