Welcome back everybody to You Have Permission, the podcast that aims to take both Christianity and the modern world

of science and culture very seriously. My name's Dan Koch. I'm a licensed therapist and I'm a

post-evangelical liberal Christian just just waiting 50 minutes every day to meet Jesus,

much like Mary Magdalene here in the first episode of The Chosen.

I am joined by Jeff Martin, dear personal friend from our touring rock band days. You sang lead and

played guitar in Buffalo, New York's This Day and Age. Jeff, thank you for being here with me.

Thanks for having me, Dan. I've, you know, I've always been just kind of your music friend, and I feel like I've sort of graduated to another level of friendship. Yeah, you've jumped up an echelon here to make it onto you. I have permission. This is, we are trying out a new series here called, We Watched the Chosen, so you don't have to.
