Okay, so the story behind the hauntings here is that it was originally built in 1894 for David Whitney Jr. and his wife and children.

And a lot of people say this was supposed to be their forever home.

And some say that it still is because they are said

to be still haunting the place. So back when the house was built, that fantasy never came to

fruition because the family matriarch, his wife, passed away in 1882 before the construction

even began.

But one year later, Whitney married Flora, the sister of his wife.

This is shady, not just spooky.

This is a shady story.

Exactly.

And she became the stepmother to the families's four children. Ants, stepmother.

They ended up moving into the Whitney Mansion and taking over that home. And so particularly now,
