Most of us know what it's like to repeat sinful behavior.

We know it's wrong, but we keep returning to the same poor choices.

The result?

We slip into an unwanted cycle of sin, repentance, and forgiveness, only to go through the

process all over again.

Today, on Insight for Living, Chuck Swindall teaches from Romans chapter 7.

The writer, Paul, understands our frustration.

He too fell into a cycle of sin.

So what's the solution?

Let's continue the message that Chuck started on Friday's program called We've Met the

Breach, He Is Us.

No longer under the domination of the law, no longer controlled by the power of sin.

We have been freed, but we have a choice.

We do not have to sin.

We sin because we want to sin.

Look, for example, at verse 7 and following, I would never have known that coveting is

wrong if the law had not said, you must not covet.

But sin used this commandment to arouse all kinds of covetous desires within me.

And there were no laws sin would not have that power.

Is that interesting that when there's a statement that says, do not, everything within

us says, do that.
