Good morning everyone and welcome back to another Mornings with the Masters where we devote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. It is a good morning indeed as we

are picking up with a new devotional on the Bible app titled The Power of Morning Prayer.

And we chose this because we just finished other devotional on part two of like spiritual warfare.

And we ended it all about prayer and so it's like okay well if we're going to talk about

prayer let's talk about it. Let's do it. Anyways there's a link to that in the description if

you guys want to follow along with us and as always I'm going to read the scripture then

Tori's going to pick up with the divo. Let's do it. Let's do it. This scripture is Psalms chapter 5

verse 3 and it says this, Listen to my voice in the morning Lord each morning I bring my request

to you and I wait to expectantly. The devotional says this. I am a morning person because that is

something my pastor instilled in me since I was young. One time in my youth years our church was

running out our facility to a Spanish speaking church. One day I showed up to church early in the

morning to pray because I couldn't sleep. When I arrived I saw elderly people playing a cassette

tape on stage as they cried out to God. This church would show up at five o'clock in the morning to

pray. I was very frustrated because I don't remember ever giving them permission to use our church

in the mornings. They were only supposed to use the church Sunday evenings. I was standing there

upset looking at them pray and worship so early in the morning getting ready to give them a speech

as their landlord about them using the space without permission. Then at that moment the Lord

convicted me and reminded me of how I used to do that. He said to me that his house was supposed

to be a house of prayer but that I had become lazy. I never gave them that speech and that became

a personal prayer revival for me to come back to morning prayer myself. Since then a formation
