| 0:00.0 | Yeah, media group. Fourth egg it wasn't Peyton and Peyton's the one that got sprained. Wow, looking back though. I feel so bad. Peyton took one for the team. Hey guys, episode 103. We're back. We are officially back back in bear back here. Yeah. Well, if you're watching us, you see the Christmas tree's gone. It's kind of sad. It's depressing when you take everything down. It's always sad when you take it down. And your house looks empty. Yeah, it's all it's so happy and cozy when you put it up. That's why we put it up early because you only get to enjoy it for two months and we get made fun of. But if you put it up in December, it's not worth it for a couple of weeks to me. I rather enjoyed for eight weeks as opposed to four. This, I remember last year thinking around Christmas time, it felt like it took forever to get to Christmas. And then with Christmas, I was like, Okay, I'm glad it's gone. I was ready to take it down after Christmas. This year, I didn't want to take it down. It was, but, wait, we got to get into all of this going into, well, what were you going to say? I was going to say we didn't travel this year. So it was a little different. Yeah, y'all. Every December, Jeff gets sick with strep or flu or something every year. I know. I didn't get sick once. I don't think this whole year. Yeah. And you made a good point. We could be crazy, but you eat so clean the whole year. And then in December, you just eat whatever you'll have sweets. You're not eating your normal, what you normally do. You're drinking beer. Well, you always drink beer, but you're... I don't know if this is true or it's scientific. I'm sure it's not. But I really ate clean the all of 2024. And I dropped 25 to 30 pounds. I got down to 179. That was the lowest I got. and I dropped like 25 to 30 pounds. |
| 2:05.3 | I got down to 179, or that was the lowest I got. And I started at like 209. So I lost like 30 pounds altogether. But towards the end of the year, you know, me losing a job and all that and we'll get into all that stuff. You know, the stress was kicking in a little bit, I was drinking a little bit more. And then once the holidays hit, I was, I didn't eat like bread. |
| 2:25.3 | I wouldn't even eat croutons in my salad. |
| 2:27.2 | That's how strict that was. |
| 2:28.9 | But maybe that has something. I was drinking a little bit more and then once the holidays hit, I was, I didn't eat like bread. |
| 2:25.2 | I wouldn't even eat croutons in my salad. That's how strict I was. But maybe that has something to do with it. But then when, yeah, when the holidays came, I Thanksgiving, I started just eating bread. I made Foucaaccia. I made homemade ravioli's. I just, I didn't care. I was eating chips at night. I just ate whatever I wanted because it was the holidays. |
| 2:45.1 | I gained 10 pounds back. |
| 2:46.8 | I weighed like 192 now. |
| 2:48.4 | I gained like chips at night. I just ate whatever I wanted because it was the holidays I gained 10 pounds back. I weighed like 192 now. I gained like 12 pounds back and I got sick right when Christmas started and I was like I wonder if All of that the drinking eating bread pasta chips, whatever I wanted I wonder if that pushed me over the edge to be sick. I don't |
| 3:05.6 | know if it's scientific or not. Sometimes you just get sick. Our neighbors were sick. Kids get sick. But yeah, I got sick like right when Chris was hit. But it's every year, every year at the same time. I think I wonder if it's because I let go during the holidays. That's what I'm saying. And I mean, it's just, I could tell you weren't feeling good. you were just like pale and kind of like sweaty. |
| 3:27.1 | And no, I could tell you weren't feeling good. You were just like pale and kind of like sweaty. And no, I could tell you were fighting it. So Christmas was all right. We, you know, the energy wasn't really there. It was okay. I was trying. I put together a Lego set, Lawson tried to help me in the beginning, but you know, eight years old. I think this Lego set was for 12 years old. Listen, I got that thing together. I cannot believe I did put the Lego set together. I'll never buy another Lego set, even though he asked for more. But it took, I'm like a sloth with putting that together and Lawson doesn't have the patience because he's young. And but I was like, I'm completing this. |
| 4:06.8 | It took me a day and a half and I got it done though. |
| 4:10.3 | Yeah, you did. |
| 4:11.3 | And now it's up in Lawson's room. |
| 4:13.1 | Yeah. |
| 4:14.1 | So that's nice. |
| 4:15.1 | Yeah. |
| 4:16.1 | Looks good. |
| 4:17.1 | But I'm proud of myself that I could actually do it because it's just a thousand pieces. |
| 4:19.4 | Yeah. |
| 4:20.4 | Well, you were a wide still cooked and everything. Even though I didn't feel good. I know that's what I'm saying. You were still cooked and you still did everything, but just the energy wasn't there. I get it because you weren't feeling good. So it was just very quiet. Yeah, I battled through it. And the kids are getting a little bit older. So they woke up at midnight on Christmas Eve and did not go to sleep at all. I did everything to try to get them to go to sleep and they were that excited that they stayed up all night. I was so tired. I felt like I was hungover. Yeah, because they had to fall asleep a little bit here and there, right? No, they were up the entire time. And I go, if you guys are gonna be up, I finally gave up after I tried for like two hours. I was like, guys, you have to go to sleep because the reason they couldn't go back to sleep is they looked over the balcony and saw all the gifts were out. Because Santa came a little early. Santa came at nine, like nine of God. Remember one year, you know, it's funny because I will Santa always puts like flour and like footsteps by the door. I don't even know where that came from. I'll tell you where it came from. You were, you were hammered. That's where it came from. We were hammered or Santa was hammered on Christmas. This was a couple of Christmas's ago and did that never since then. They asked where, yeah, they're like, it's part of their routine. It doesn't even mean anything. |
