Akman Najjar, who is from Gaza. He's a playwright and writer. And obviously, we've been

talking, we talked during the

genocide. Well, firstly, I mean, I just want to ask him, and you're from, you're from Gaza.

Your home was already destroyed us a while ago by the Israeli military. When you, when you

woke up and heard what was happening to your fellow people in Gaza, what went through your head?

I woke up actually at 4 o'clock in the morning to have Sahar because I'm doing Ramadan.

And I normally hesitate to look at my phone just in case if anything

happens and I always tell myself, you know, I can find out later. Then I just did look at my

phone and I've seen all the images coming in, horrifying images of children being literally

slaughtered and and and women screaming and men carrying

their children running and images that kind of brought me back to what was going on in Gaza, to the genocide that was

taking place in Gaza.
