I often have to remind people that we cannot eliminate risk in anything, in breathing.

There's risk involved in everything, and humans are just really bad at assessing risk.

I think it also, it requires nuance and understanding what risk elimination is, what risk

reduction is.

It also requires nuance and understanding what is a risk and what's a hazard, right?

Risk is, like that.

You know, kind of exposure, you know, it's a thing that can cause harm, but the hazard

exists if you're exposed to that harm, right? Like a shark is a risk, but being in a

body of water with a shark that's close to you and hungry is really hazardous.
