So, yes, we're still processing what happened last Tuesday night. And I think we will be for quite a while. Despite some important wins like my own race here in Georgia, we do have a long road ahead.

Before we figure out how we're going to stand up to authoritarianism, we need to take care of our own hearts in our minds right now.

That's why I'm so glad we'll be joined today by Connie Schultz.

But before Connie joins us, let's talk about what's

been going on since last week. Oh, all the stages of grief have been happening with everyone.

I think we've all gone through various stages. I don't know what stage I'm at. I think I'm at

the stage of feeling exhausted. I think that's that's fair. I honestly don't know what stage I'm at. I think I'm at the stage of feeling exhausted.

I think that's fair. I honestly don't know the stages in grief, but I do know that I have just been going through changes. Like, you know, I don't know them in order, I guess is what I'm trying to say.

I don't think there is an order.

I think you can kind of cycle through and it's not like a linear thing.

I mean, unfortunately, I have a lot of experience with grief and I can tell you that grief

is never a linear process.

There are bits and starts and ups and downs and it's so much.

And I think that's a lot of what we will experience for a long time.

And as someone who did not go through this in 2016,

and I'm just going to be really open about that.

And not because I wasn't disappointed that Hillary lost.

It wasn't that.

It was just a different way of processing it.
