Summary

Most Americans assume a totalitarian regime like the Soviet Union or Communist China couldn’t happen here. My guest today, Rod Dreher, believes that is a dangerous and naive mentality. In this interview, he lays out his belief that America is increasingly falling under a “soft totalitarianism” that starts with things like cancel culture, wokeness, and political correctness but ends much, much worse.
