0:26.6	It was in May of 2014 that Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills heard this 911 call.

0:30.3	Yes, I have an emergency.
0:32.3	I think I have somebody dead.
0:36.8	Sheriff Sills rushed to the lakeside home of Russell and Shirley Dermon in Edenton, Georgia.
0:41.8	It was in the garage of that home that Sills found the body of 88-year-old Russell Dermond.
0:44.3	His wife was found over a week later.
0:46.1	They'd both been brutally murdered.
0:48.3	They were a very unassuming couple.
0:52.8	They did not bring a lot of attention to themselves.
0:57.0	She loved to play cards. Was very active in the community. He was fairly self-spoken.
0:59.0	When all this happened, most of us couldn't understand why somebody would do that to them.
1:04.0	So it's just been hard for the family to try to move on with the brutality of how their parents' lives ended.
1:11.2	The case has gone unsolved since then.
1:13.7	But at last, there could be new evidence and new leads.
