with guns? I mean, look, with so many mass murders at places of worship or places

of work, at concerts, nightclubs, and yes, even colleges, schools and elementary schools,

with so many senseless murders on city streets and neighborhoods every day, with so many suicides

by gunfire, why can't Congress or why can't state

legislatures take even baby steps towards sensible gun safety legislation? I mean, can we really

blame it on the Second Amendment? Or is it just some born-in American fascination for killer weapons?

Should we just give up on gun control?

Well, Igor Volsky doesn't think so.

He started a brand new organization with some bold new ideas on how to reduce the number of guns in America.

I've been a supporter of good, sensible gun safety legislation for probably over 30 years in the California legislature on initiative campaigns in

California which I supported here in Washington DC and they've all failed and

things just seem to get worse and worse and worse is it just time to give up on

gun safety no absolutely no No, I appreciate that.

You know, I think there is a sense and not just on the gun issue, but, you know, I think within

political advocacy in general, and when you look at, you know, the number of folks who
