0:15.7	Just found out late last week that my husband owes over $100,000 to the IRS and to the Department of Revenue.

0:26.6	I have no idea what to do.

0:28.6	How did you find out?
0:30.9	Well, the tax, it's always been filed married, but separately.
0:37.7	We've only been married a little bit over five years, and so there was some, you know, not doing the taxes, not filing, not filing.
0:46.2	Finally, they got filed, and the total just was presented to us late last week.
0:53.8	Does that include any late fees, penalties? Yep. The total just was presented to us late last week.

1:00.9	Yeah, it's a whole smorgasbord of a lot of things.
1:04.8	So what made you guys ignore it for a few years?
1:12.4	It was sort of one of those things where I would just kind of keep asking, can please get this done, please get this done, please get this done.
1:16.8	You'd ask your husband, like, hey, have you filed taxes yet?
1:20.7	Mine are all filed separately and all taken care of.
1:25.1	But he never filed for how many years?
1:28.1	For a total of six years, yeah.
1:32.9	So it's been my experience in these moments, Annie, over the years, that there's two things going on.
