I'm gonna put it here even though I shouldn't be looking at how many people are on the live because it does you know kind of get sometimes either good or discouraging and throws me off I'm gonna put my little view thing you know, just so we can see what's going on here with the chat. 5 o'clock, don't change it if it'll cost views. I don't know. I don't know if it will or not. But I do know that a lot of people on the East Coast would like it to be 5 o'clock. But I know other people work until like 4.30. Without being said, we're doing chapter six and seven of first Corinthians tonight. We are on a journey to do the entire Bible, the entire New Testament. Let me say it that way, verse by verse on live stream. So we've done the entire book of John, book of Acts, Romans, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, james first st timothy first second and third john jude and revelation we've done all of those books live stream verse by verse we will be the first people to ever do the entire new testament verse by verse on live stream which i'm excited about we probably have another year and a half maybe a year maybe two years something like that we've been 70 years doing it and we'll be done with the whole new testament and i don't know we're going to do after that maybe we just run it back i don't know we mix in preaching in between and teaching and topical and all that stuff so tonight chapter six and seven of first corinthians if you have your bible please take it out to first corinthians please put your notebook everyone saying five o'clock we'll see we're gonna see please make sure excuse me that you're taking notes because a lot of work goes in these

not appropriate for children when we get to chapter seven i'll warn you once again because it's going to be talking about marriage things marriage activities if you know what i'm talking about so probably not appropriate for the kids i would not let my kids listen to chapter seven what i'm going to be teaching but we needed to talk about it because it's in the bible and it's important to talk about. This was written around 45, I'm sorry, 54, 55 AD. So 54 years after Christ died and rose.

This was written. This was Paul's third missionary journey, most likely written from the city of Ephesus. He identifies himself as the author of this book. So it's not really up for question.

He planted this church in Corinth and about five years earlier in Acts 18. He stayed there for a

year and a half teaching the Word of God at this church. Later on, Paul heard all these serious

issues going on in the church. So he writes this letter to correct the church. There's a lot of things
