Hello, everybody. My name is Mary. Welcome back to prologs. need to chat we need to debrief i need to update you guys

on what's going on with me i need to personally sit down and reflect on what the hell has been going on in my

life in the past month and i figured today we would do just that if you're listening to this the day it

comes out i am flying back home to Virginia

tomorrow and I am so ready. I'm so excited to be going home. I've been traveling for a month now.

It's the longest I've ever traveled. I've ever been on one trip. And it's not just this month. It's the fact that the

last several months of my life, actually majority of this year, have just been really go, go, go, go.

I was doing some reflection and I was thinking about how for a long time, like for a couple years there, my life was

pretty calm, pretty chill in terms of the activities, in terms of what I was doing.

You know, working from home, Matthew was home, either working from home or working locally,

but living at home, not traveling that much,

just in a routine. And then this year, all of that changed really drastically. And when I look

back, I can pinpoint the moment down to the week of our wedding. So our wedding was in March and then obviously Matt moved to Dallas

afterwards to play rugby and then I started visiting him a lot. I threw myself into work. I started the

podcast. I came off of TikTok. I had work trips that I had to go on and I was never at home for longer

than honestly a week or two at a time

for months. And then Matt came home in June. And then we had a crazy summer, a crazy good summer.

We took a vacation to Florida. I had a work trip to Denver. I went home to see my parents.

Things happened in my personal life,

obviously. I adjusted to living, you know, at home with my husband again. I had to adjust to him

being gone. And then obviously I had to adjust to him being back. And now we've just spent the last

month in France and in Scotland. And so I feel like I haven't had any normal time, normal meaning,
