My name is Joe Thorn, I'm the lead pastor of Redeemer Fellowship in St. Charles, Illinois,

and excuse our mess.

I'm in the church building and we're having a lot of work done, painting, new flooring for

the sanctuary.

We've been out of our sanctuary for almost two years, started with COVID and we were looking

for different places and we're moving back in on November 6th and so we've had a ton

of crews out here, volunteers, contractors to really get this place looking good, make

it a suitable place for corporate worship once again.

So if you hear any banging, yelling, screaming, sawing or whatever, that's what that is.

I promise it's not a torture house or anything.

We are super, super excited to have Dr. Matthew Barrett back on the podcast with us.

If you don't know, Dr. Barrett is a associate professor of Christian theology at Midwestern

Baptist Theological Seminary, he's the author of books, you might have heard of some

of them, like simply Trinity, fantastic book, important book that everybody should get

and you want, you started Credo Magazine, your editor there and your host, the Credo podcast,

is that right?

That's right and actually, I mean the Credo podcast was so fun, I mean who gets to just

sit down and talk theologian to theologian and so that's been fun and recently too, I

have to mention this, we've started the Center for Classical Theology is a bit of an academic
