All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of The Tear Down.

My name is Jeff Buck.

I'm along with my co-worker, Jordan Bianchi.

I am currently at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where I've just witnessed the third race of the NASCAR season, points race anyway.

And Jordan, not quite what I was expecting there.

I'll be honest.

I picked between Vegas and Phoenix because I was going to do two races on the West

Coast swings.

I did Fontaine, obviously.

That was going to be a can't miss.

And then I was like, I'll go to Vegas because the

mile and a half races with the next gen car are amazing you can't miss one of those for the short

track races which haven't been that good so here I am and I'm like oh well maybe I made the

wrong call Jordan well you're not the only one who made the wrong call because you actually solicited my advice and you said, what should I do?

And I said, no, you got to go to Vegas.

You know, there's nothing really that's going to happen at Phoenix, anything that will be okay.

And it just logistically and kind of coverage plans, it made sense to go to Vegas, not Phoenix.

So I will take my fair share of the blame for this as well.

And you're right.

Like this is a rare slunker next-gen car race on an intermediate track.

I went back and looked and there really hasn't been too many of these on these

mile and a half race track since this car was introduced.
