I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And on Saturday, the Lakers got blown out against the Denver Nuggets in a performance that was so egregiously poor that it led LeBron to apologize to the fans on Twitter

and promise that the team will be better.

He said, we will be better.

We dedicate a lot of the, a lot of time on the show

to lineups and schemes and, you know,

the details of basketball, the sport that we all really love. But there's

something that comes with being on a team that I think is universal across sports that is important

before you get to any of that, that if you don't have that, Darius, if you don't have that

collective will to play hard, that will to play together and for each other,

that what lineups you're running, what schemes you're running, things like that don't matter.

And we spoke a bit toward the end of last week about how the Lakers were likely to go through a time

that was about to test their resolve.
