Hey folks, welcome to the Adventure Sports podcast. I'm your host, Mason. As you'll see, we're not doing an

episode today. We're not doing an episode this week. I'm going to take the week off. I haven't been

feeling well, and it's been very busy. Over the past weekend, if you didn't know, I was

commentary for a paddleboard race here in Florida called Last Paddler Standing.

And it's put on by one of our ASP alumni Greg Wingo.

And he puts on the other race called the Alabama 650.

And we had someone who just completed that on last week's episode, John Nippers.

And John was also racing the last paddler standing.

Anyway, that's all backstory. But the last paddler standing. Anyway,

that's all backstory. But the last paddler standing, I do live commentary for just like you would hear in a sports game, football, basketball, something like that. And we had three of us doing that

all around the clock, totally 24-7 around the clock. And we all traded off shifts and whatnot. And so for the 50-hour event, literally 50 hours straight, I was only gone, gosh, about six,

seven hours total.

And so the rest of the time I was there, it was a long weekend.

I did take work off to help make it happen.

And I just, it really threw me off.

I couldn't get the episode out. And then Tuesday came along, Wednesday. And I said, you know what? I think I need a break. So sorry that we're not getting an episode up this week. We have a lot of amazing episodes in the can already recorded. I just got to get them produced and get them out there. So we'll be back on Monday with a brand new episode.
