This is Dave Van Vickle. No episode today, and I'm sorry about that. I'm just

checking in with you to let you know about our upcoming season that we're so excited about.

Gomer's off, saving the world, given a parish mission somewhere, and I am at home dealing

with a flu, the likes of which could only be compared to the plagues of Egypt, I'm guessing.

Five out of six Van Bickles have gone down.

My son, Sam, continues to show his superhumanity.

He hasn't gotten it yet.

But other than that, we are all so sick.

So no episode this week.

But the season coming up is going to be awesome. We're going to

talk about the church hierarchy. I mean, a big part of being Catholic is that we have a pope.

And so what does that mean? We have a physical representative of Christ on earth and what is his

job? What does he do? What are bishops, sort of priests, how do they work together, all of these

things? What does the hierarchy of the church mean? And what does it mean for our life as disciples? You know, with Pope

Francis being so sick, I think a lot of people are wondering, we're going to have another

conclave soon. And he is elderly. So I think probably many people are wondering that. And we're

going to talk about that and why we even have a Pope to begin with. So it's

going to be a really great season. I hope you'll join us and I hope you'll get excited. Keep us in
