President-elect Joe Biden has put tackling climate change at the top of his agenda.

So today, I'm announcing my plan for clean energy revolution.

He's pledged to rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement on his first day in office.

It outlines what we have to do to meet this challenge to head on and how we're going to get there.

With America, China, and the European Union on board, hitting the Paris target seems more plausible,

limiting temperature rises to well below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.

There's still a long way to go in the battle to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions.

But there's hope that Mr. Biden's presidency could mark a turning point in the fight against climate change.

So Mr. Biden has made climate change central to his campaign and also importantly,

in both speeches that he delivered at the end of last week, he mentioned climate change in a list
