where a 12 year old can stab a woman in her garage like a premeditated stabbing in her

garage what is going on there and there's a lot of obvious things that we know,

and we've talked about, we've heard before.

But I want to introduce a new argument,

or a new ingredient into the mix that I've never thought much of,

or at least I haven't presented here.

And it's from Neil Postman, his book called The Disappearance of Childhood.

I think it's interesting and I think it's a part of it.

So we do that and we'll play that for you next.

But let's start off with our opening segment where we talked about women getting punched in the face in the street

and Donald Trump at the wake of that NYPD officer.

And we had some great phone calls and we got into a whole thing about the importance of

virtue with this book I just started reading called The Pursuit of Happiness by Jeffrey

Rosen, how classical writers on virtue inspired the lives of the founders and defined America

and clearly were light years away from that.

And there's all the normal arguments about that in America and society and blah.

But I want to present a different argument that I've never presented before.

And I think it's one ingredient in how could this possibly have happened.
