guests, two of them. We've got John Duphraim from kinetic consulting and Don Edwards talk about night vision. So that's what I want to do. But before we do that, John, starting with you, like, what's your background? How'd

you get into Night Vision? How do you do what you do now? Cool. I come from the Army side of the house. I was in army ranger for a while in third range of Italian and then and that's where I kind of got my real jump into night vision and using it on most occasions. And then out of the Army I started

actually helping some law enforcement agencies learn how to use their

night vision because they had gotten grants and and from there the business grew and

now I teach everybody how to use night vision as much as I can at least that's awesome Don how about you? Yeah, I mean like John I was a I was an army ranger a long time ago retired from the 20 Special Forces Group, so I had a full 20 years, retired as a guard guy, but I have a little over half of that is full time service.

And, you know, was using night vision when it was ancient

before we had lasers and stuff so you know for me it was it's kind of cool because I can

look back and see the evolution of where we came on the tactical usage side of Night Vision and it just it's awesome how far we've come and as a trainer I've owned Green Line Tactical for I mean it's been an entity for over 10 years now maybe close to 15

been full-time training as Green Line Tactical for about five and have just been part of a couple different

companies as far as developing tactical style night vision training. The most recent actual job that I had was the director of law enforcement

sales and government sales and training for T&D.C.

So I've got a bit of a history in that in that arena which is a lot of fun. It's just kind of like it's turned into the flagship types of programs for my training company.

Yeah, absolutely.

And it seems like a lot of people have been interested in Night Vision.

I started getting into it.

My buddy, he actually works on some night vision on the side as a side job after he got out of the military and so he just would you know pick up parts here and there just as he was working on things and we eventually put together a

PVS 14 for me and then of course I had to have a helmet and you know get the

get all the accoutraments that you need so I've been very very interested in it and I've been taking our

listeners along on a journey but I was like you know you two guys are two of the guys

that I respect so much in this in this space and others but I thought it'd be really cool to have you come on and just talk about the the gear the you know some tactics and strategy and things like that and just give people you know a little bit of an intro so wherever you guys want to start I'm honestly kind of
