Yesterday was a 70th birthday of Rick Moranis

I don't think we talked about it on the morning show but we did it on the evening show.

And Strange Brew came out when I was 13 and I loved that movie.

I thought it was so funny.

There were a series of movies in the 80s that were that kind of hit me where I was in

life at that point, 13, 14, 15, sort of silly, funny, and a goofy way.

And they inspired a whole other generation.

I think that's where the Will Barrow and Mike Myers and all that inspiration came from

that style of comedy and I really, really liked it.

I don't like it.

I don't tend to like it as much today.

I don't know why, but I really loved it at the time.

And I thought Rick Moranis was a really, really funny comedian.

So yesterday being his 70th birthday, I spent the afternoon reading about it and I did

not realize that his wife had died young leaving him with these kids and he was a single
