Let's talk for a moment, just a moment about China.

Mao, the cultural revolution. This is going to come back to America, so just

stay with me for a moment. Because a lot of people don't understand it. China's a foreign country.

You've hit a couple high points. Everybody knows Mao was a bad guy. But what's the timeline

look like? So let's lay it out here. The nationalists under

Chiang Kai Shek were fighting the communists. This is before World War II. They're fighting

trying to control communist China. The Nationalists, because of a bunch of dirty tricks in

World War II and other reasons we don't have to get into, the nationalists end up losing

that.

They retreat to Taiwan. If you're curious why China doesn't call it Taiwan, China considers it Chinese territory. It's because as soon as the nationalist took Taiwan, Mao wanted to go over there

and take Taiwan so they could have it all, but they couldn't do it. Long story, either way,

that's why Taiwan's still free and China's a dumb. You with me?

So Mao takes over China.

And he does the things communists do.

You know, starves 50 million people to death, tortures, kills people, all those standard things.

But that's a problem. You see, because the death of 50 million

people, and that's a guess, it could be 100, and it could be 30, who knows, the death of that many

people cannot be kept quiet. Even with the strict, strict censorship that went on in communist China,

you know, we're not talking about the year 1600, even then it couldn't be kept quiet.
