Just about an hour ago, a federal judge denied Mark Meadows bid to move his criminal charges

in Fulton County to federal court, ruling that his alleged involvement in efforts to pressure

state leaders who overturned the 2020 election results was not a part of his official duties

as a government official.

It is a major setback for Donald Trump's former White House chief of staff who sought his

request on the grounds that he was a federal officer at the time of the actions that led

to his indictment.
