Dick Lobo turned 88 today.

One of the favorite, one of my favorite guys in the NFL, and certainly Bill Cowher, I think, would also echo that sentiment because he coached under Bill Cowher.

And he coached with us at the Sinai Bengals, was briefly head coach at the Bengals, too, there for a while.

And I can guarantee you today, at 88, he could probably break 80 on the golf course.

Oh, the guy's in tremendous shape. I mean, he was there as a defensive coordinator

for the five years that I was in Pittsburgh and I'd see him at some of the practices and could

not believe that he was his age. I mean, he looks a good, he looked at that point at least,

I haven't seen him in a while, a good 10 to 15 years younger. Yeah, he was a great player too as well for the Detroit Lions. People forget that. But he always had a saying, he'd come out and if it were raining or snowing at practice, you know, we didn't have indoor facilities like the pampered players do today. Yeah. We'd be out there practicing and he'd be like,

it's bingo weather today, you know, and I'm sure he did it for the Steelers as well.

Yeah.

And he is a beloved guy and respected guy.

And really, when you think about all the great, great coaches and players and people

that have gone through the NFL, both as players and

coaches, I mean, his longevity, I think I would probably put up against almost anybody, I think.

Yeah. I mean, he... I was saying like, Dan Reeves was a player and a long-time coach and highly respected.

And Dick Lebeau is a long-time player and a long-time coach highly respected.

I'm trying to think, and I'm sure Joey from Yonkers or somebody can get this for us,

if in fact he has the longest career span.

Now, would you count like broadcasting and that, like John Madden coaching, broadcasts?

No, I'm saying playing and coaching in the NFL, the amount of years that a man spent in his spot.

Yeah, I mean, it's got to be, he's got to be right there.

I'm thinking off the top of my head, it's tough to say.
