How do I avoid gluttony? Should I stay within a strict calorie limit? Or is it too legalistic?

Man, I've been I've been thinking about this issue. It's interesting that you bring up the

0:07.7

question of gluttony as I was reading the scriptures recently. I was noticing that right

along and I've noticed it before. It's not like I've never read these things or thought about them.

But I was just thinking about it in a fresh way and that the in our culture were like the whole

frog in a kettle analogy where we can be living in this culture not aware that we're becoming more

1:18.6

the issues are behind gluttony. And that God doesn't, you know, Paul says the food is for stomach

1:23.4

and stomachs for food, but God will destroy them both. Right? Your body belongs to the Lord.

1:28.8

Live for him. And that's the, that's one of the issues with gluttony is that I'm, there's

1:33.0

something that I don't know if you just sense it in your spirit. This is unhealthy spiritually,

1:39.4

not just physically. There's something about my commitment addiction to this food. I'm eating too

1:46.9

much too often. And it's not good. And we have a lot of ways we justify this. I'm being super

open with you guys here. Well, that's just my genetics. Like genetically, I'll be overweight no
