I want to talk about what happened after we saw that bill passed into law. And the bill

that I'm talking about, of course, is the big bitch-ass bill that was basically going to cut

everything from your capacity to be able to get student loans from your capacity to be able to get

access to health care. The social safety net is basically being destroyed. But what often happens

in the news is we talk about things that are about to happen,

things that are happening currently.

But then we don't talk about what happened after the thing went into law.

And because of the way this bill was crafted,

it's really important that we're clear about how we can move this particular conversation forward

because it's going to roll out in a way, I got to be honest with you,

the devil is really smart sometimes. The devil is really smart sometimes. It is amazing to me how

intelligent the devil is able to sort of navigate this space. And we see that reflected in this

legislation because as evil as the legislation is, it is really intelligently crafted so that

the worst of the pain is going to be felt after the

2026 midterms. And so a lot of what Democrats have been saying is going to happen. And analysts

and independent, nonpartisan bodies have been saying it's going to happen on this legislation

is timed in such a way that you're going to begin to feel the impacts. And then we're going to

have the impact spread out over time, making it more difficult for a group like the Democrats,

which have never found a message that they could actually communicate effectively because

they're bad at messaging, but basically it's one of these situations that you've got to understand

how it's going to be implemented so that you understand how to advocate. What's very interesting
