State of the Union address and Kate and I are going to get into it and talk about

what we saw we're going to get into it and talk about what we saw.

We're going to talk about it as, you know,

talk about the substance, the speech,

sort of all the atmospherics around it.

And we're even going to get into a little of Kate and my,

like emotional lives, or kind of our anxieties right because like I don't know I don't know how to put it you know there's a lot a lot at stake here and I think a lot of you know a lot of like nervous democrats are thinking like is

there going to be a moment right is there going to be a viral moment and at the I think I

think we alluded to this a little in you know the the previous episode of the podcast was just two days ago but you know just

recent so we just did that one I think we may have alluded to this a little in that

episode of the podcast but I think Kate mentioned that you know she was sort of on

pins and needles how it was how it was gonna go and we were slacking a little

just before the speech began, but I don't I don't remember

exactly what Kate slacked to sort of start it off but it was it was and was, I probably shouldn't, if I did remember, it probably

be something I shouldn't say. But it was basically, Kate told me she was like in a bit of a state, right, as things were about to get started. And I remember I joked and I think this was you know they have all the dignitaries
