privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

Hello my friends, it's Sally Clarkson and I'm sitting in my little chair in Oxford on

a very cold and rainy day and it seems as though what we're going to be talking about today

is actually something that I am having to practice in my own life and learn as well as

all my kids as well as clay. Today we are continuing our study of the 24 family ways and what I want

to say at the beginning of these last ones that we've been doing the last year for as well

as the ones that we will be doing until the deadline is sometimes when your children are

little or even when you're younger, hopefully this happened to you but maybe it didn't

like it didn't with me. There are just black and white concepts we need to learn like telling

the truth or learning to obey a parent or learning to just to do a task or learning what

honor is or learning to love God. Anyway, black and white concepts that we teach and we say

these are the right ways walk in them. But when we get to these later 24 family ways and

we're doing number 19 today, we have to understand that maturity in Christ, maturity and life

strength of character in life, whether you are even a believer or not, your life will

be better if you learn character. What we would call godly character if you learn to be patient,

to be self-controlled, to be diligent, to be enduring. So these are lifelong qualities

of learning how to be godlike in Christ that come from Scripture but can also apply to

the wisdom of the world that we will use our whole lives. A person who has not been trained
