Hello to everyone today. It's Sally Clarkson and I am so happy you're joining me. As we

get into the later 24 family ways which we have been doing a series of, you can go back

and listen to my podcast and look at the 24 family ways and see, but as we get more

into the higher ones that we're going to be covering in the next few weeks, you kind

of have to stand back and say, oh my goodness, how am I reflecting this in my own life?

How am I learning this in such a way that my children are going to see me exercising

this? And the one that we're going to be studying today might create a little bit of an

outch in your life. Oh my goodness, you mean I have to be this way for my children to learn

it? But I think that as we walk with God and as we continue to grow, and growth is a maturity

process in the same way that we see babies going from total dependence, nursing, the only

way they have of communicating to us is crying and they nurse sleep, nurse sleep and in between

make a lot of messes. And then they begin, I'm watching my sweet Lilly do this and then

they begin crawling and Lilly became so much happier when she could crawl because she's

the type of child that wants to be everywhere and everything. And then eventually they start

walking and they start communicating and pointing and so maturity is a process. And we are the

same way. When we become believers, we have the spirit of Christ who enters into our lives.

And we can read about the fruit of the spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,

faithfulness, gentleness and self control as it talks about in Galatians. But to acquire
