We are not okay. America is not okay. And we all know that. Former Congressman Joe Walsh, this is the social contract with Joe Walsh. Let's figure out how to get okay together. Now, some of you may be offended with what I'm about to say, but it's true.

What I'm about to say is 100% true.

Even if it's offensive.

Even if it's crazy really scary even if it's unbelievably unpleasant what i'm about to say is true. If Donald Trump died in his sleep tonight, more than half the country would publicly celebrate.

You know that's true.

If Trump died in his sleep tonight,

half, easily more than half of this country would publicly cheer would publicly dance would publicly celebrate the death of a president of the United States.

You know that's true.

And I've got to tell you, I couldn't imagine saying that about any other American president.

In fact, that would not be the case with any other American president. As divided as we are as a country, and we've always been divided. We're more divided now than we've ever been since just before the Civil War.

But we've always been divided, right?

But it doesn't matter, right?

You know, so many Democrats, you know, despised Ronald Reagan.

When Ronald Reagan died, the entire country mourned.

When Jimmy Carter died, the entire country mourned.

You go down the list as much as so many Americans because we are so partisan and we've only got two parties,

even when a president of the other party dies, the country mourns.

Oh, sure, you'll always get a handful of people who hated Reagan or hated Jimmy Carter who might you, say some stupid shit.

But generally, damn near the entire country with any other American president.

When any other American president dies, damn near the entire country puts politics aside,

and we all pay our respects. And the nation publicly mourns no matter that president's politics the country uniformly mourns.

Same thing will happen one day when Barack Obama passes.
