When we see a relationship end, especially one that we thought was great, it’s natural to wonder why? Who or what was to blame?

In this chat I’m sharing my experience being in relationships where I carried too much of the mental load and it slowly eroded the relationship.

0:39.7	relationship expert. I'm not a marriage expert. I'm not a divorce expert. And I will be the first
0:44.8	to tell you that I am remarried and still figuring it out. Or a parenting expert. You know,
0:51.4	I think that what's interesting when you're online and you share your life,
0:55.2	you know, people kind of see what you have or what you've done or what you've accomplished.
0:59.2	And on some level, it becomes aspirational or, you know, you become trusted in some areas.
1:05.3	And that is a privilege that I really don't take lightly.
1:08.1	But I also say everything with a bit of a disclaimer that I'm still figuring it out. And I appreciate that so many of you are willing to figure it out with me and try
1:14.9	and test and listen and learn. And so, you know, the thing that I wanted to share about today
1:19.6	is because I get this question a lot and I've noticed it more. It's kind of like when you buy a new
1:24.5	car and all of a sudden you see your car everywhere. And you're like, huh, did everyone have Kia souls?
1:30.3	You know, like that sort of thing.
1:32.1	So people always, whenever they're going through a divorce, have an inclination to blame.
1:37.0	They're always trying to kind of figure out what happened.
1:40.1	Who was at fault?
1:41.6	Who was responsible?
1:42.9	And I think that's natural, curiosity-wise, to want to,
1:48.4	I mean, heck, I do it too. Like, I'm not saying this. When you say people, it sounds like you're
