For instance, the demand for a Palestinian state is not really a demand for a Palestinian state.

It's a rallying cry. If offered an actual Palestinian state, it would be turned down not out of hand because that

would look bad it would always be well that deal doesn't because you can't

actually get to a conclusion.

Reparations.

You can never actually have reparations paid

because then that would lose the ability to rally people under this illusory notion that we're going to get

paid if you ever got paid then what would be the rallying cry, right?

There always has to be that thing off in the distance that rallies the cause. And as long as it's just on the other side of the hill

but can never actually be accomplished then you keep the people from going back to their lives,

enjoying their lives.

You keep them from quitting the cause because remember the cause is everything.
