Hello and welcome to Sky Talkers. I'm your host Charlotte. And I'm your other host, Caitlin. Welcome to our podcast trailer. We wanted to make this trailer for Sky Talkers as a way to introduce ourselves. Yeah. So who are we, Caitlin? Who are we indeed? That's the question, right? Well, I'm Caitlin. That's Charlotte. We're're your host for sky talkers and we've been best friends for

pretty much our entire lives we met back in middle school where we had all of our classes together

and charlotte was actually the first person to introduce me to star wars i fell in love with it

and we've been obsessed with it together

ever since. Yeah, it's a core foundational element of our friendship and always has been.

We went to Star Wars weekends. We went to in Walt Disney World. We went to our first Star Wars

celebration in 2010. It has always been part of us. And around the time of Rogue One

in winter of 2016, Caitlin and I were like, we need to get involved in the Star Wars fan community,

but we don't really know how. And that kind of snowballed into we should start a podcast. So in 2017,

in January, we decided to start a podcast. And we 2017, in January, we decided to start a podcast and we got all the gear and

we got ready to do it and we recorded some episodes talking about Rogue One. And during that time,

it was such a good time for the Star Wars fan community because, you know, there's so many new

things happening.

First off with the new trilogy, the new trilogy, that had just come out only months before

and then also a new anthology film, something brand new that we had never received before,

Rogue One, which felt like the perfect marriage between all these different elements of Star Wars,

Rogue One really felt like a

wellspring for fans and long-time fans and new fans and we just really needed to dive into it,

talk about it in the long form, and that's exactly what we did with Sky Talkers. Yeah, it kind of felt

like a seminal moment. There was just so much conversation bubbling up. It was like we couldn't talk to each

other fast enough about it. And we were like, all right, podcast. Exactly. Yeah. So that was January

2017. And, you know, our show has grown a lot over the years. But something that has always
