Fox. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesdays with Trey and thank you for some amazing suggestions on books to read.

There are so many incredible books out there and some educate and some of

those books challenge and some of those books make you dream and hope and some make you weep at what others have been

through but books have the power to change our lives and you've given me some great

suggestions so in essence I ask you to engage in the art of

persuasion and many of you did just that. So last week we focused on what I'm

sure seems elementary. What do you believe and why do you believe it? It seems so

simple and so obvious, but trust me when I tell you you would be surprised at the number of folks who do not always feel fully

equipped to tell you what they believe and why. And hopefully by now you are

embracing the notion that all facets of life will benefit from persuasion.

Yes, I was in a courtroom for a long time and prosecutors do have to persuade judges and juries and we have to

persuade witnesses to come forward and cooperate or testify and we have to

persuade cops to investigate some matters more fully so we can get from

arrest to conviction and yes I was in politics for a season and for sure you need to

persuade voters to vote for you and sometimes

convince donors to donate to your campaign and sometimes you have to persuade

colleagues to look at an issue in a different way. But the reality is persuasion is everywhere. Persuasion and opportunities to move others exist from the dinner table to the boardroom,
