Hey, welcome back my friends. It is time for the morning mindset.

Time for you and for me to get our minds aligned around the truth of God.

We want to think like God thinks. Is that why you're here? That's why I'm here.

I want to push out all of my own ways of thinking and begin thinking like the God of the universe does and that means

about people about situations about what's going on around me and in the world at

large I want my life to represent what he's doing in this world.

And I hope that that's why you're here as well.

We are looking at the book of Galatians chapter one, we just dug in a few days ago and we're in

verses three four and five right now and we just looked yesterday at how it says

that Jesus gave himself for our sins. But then it gives us a reason he did that or one of the reasons. There are many reasons. But it says he did that to rescue us from the present evil age.

I don't know about you.

When I look around the world that's going on,

it definitely seems to be that description,

that it is an evil age that we live in.

There's lots going on that is just terrible and and people doing things to people

and resenting and fighting and back biting and abusing and all kinds of craziness

going on around us.

My wife and I have been quite often lately looking at each other just shaking our heads when we see what's going on in the world.

Just there are things happening we cannot believe are actually coming about and yet we recognize in the back of our minds we hold in our hearts this

truth that what Jesus did for us when he died on the cross was to rescue us from this present evil age.

Now let's make that as practical as we can today because I think we need practical

when it comes to our faith and how it relates to what's going on around us.
