We are joined by John McClean, Vice President of Christ College in Australia, teaches Systematic Theology and Ethics, and was a minister four years at Cowra Presbyterian Church. Dr. McClean discusses family in its biblical nature and purpose. 1:07.4	The Reverend John McLean, John was a pastor in the Presbyterian Church of Australia for seven years, and he now serves as vice principal of Christ College, Sydney, which is a

1:19.5	not Todd's mob, up here. John, it's great to have you with us. I believe you're not an Anglican,
1:25.5	is that correct? I'm not an Anglican.

1:36.4	The reason we've asked John to join us today is he's been doing some biblical theological work on the family and the family's place in God's mission.
1:39.3	That's clearly an area where there's great flux in contemporary Western culture. What is the family? What constitutes a
1:46.2	family? What is the purpose of a family vis-a-vis individualism or the governments? There are all
1:51.8	kinds of questions that are dominating political discourse at the moment that track back to what do we
